Be aware of locksmith scams...
In BC, all locksmiths and locksmith companies need to be government licensed.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of unlicensed locksmiths and offshore companies that claim that they are licensed.
Very simple fix, just ask for their security license! You, as a consumer, have the right to ask for it. When you phone a locksmith, tell them that you need to see their license on site. Otherwise, don’t let them touch your door.
